Media Language

1) How are the cover lines written to make the audience want to buy the magazine? Consider the interest/intrigue they create.

The cover lines look informal like there's no capital H in heat so its more of a informal little gossip magazine and could attract customers to buy the product.

2) What are the connotations of the Heat colour scheme on this particular front cover?

Its all colour full so it can stand out from the other magazines the colours are hot colours like hot pink or very bright neon yellow.

3) How are images used to create interest in the magazine? Find three reasons for your answer. (E.g. paparazzi images or aspects of mise-en-scene such props, costume, make-up, body position, facial expression etc.)

Paparazzi images take photos of the celebrity's that aren't looked well or aren't always dressed as good when their out as if their hiding from looking good all the times when their just trying to wear normal clothes.

4) What differences can you find between the use of design and typography between Tatler and Heat? List at least three differences and explain the effect on audiences.

tattler has more modest and formal design and upper class information as for heat they have an informal colourful design and is all about gossip or what to buy something that's cheap heat is for lower or middle class.
